🌿 Expressive Arts Therapy Supervision Groups – 2026 Openings! 🌿
In our recent group, we explored anchoring to natural rhythms through an ecocentric polyvagal expressive arts therapy approach. I offered an ecocentric reframe for the polyvagal ANS Wheel moving into what I call polyvagal flow. Paths for integrating this model with current theoretical approaches were also offered.
✨ Our session began with a sensory and somatic oriented meditation, inviting each member on a journey exploring Winter Duality: Cold & Warmth, Light & Darkness.
🎨 Group members were invited to make marks or create imagery exploring winter on circle drawing paper. The start of an ongoing journey that we will return to throughout the seasons.
🪶 Reflections from the group explored how themes of winter enter each of our lives as well as experiences in our work, with living in duality as the dominant topic. We held space for shared passions, self-doubts, & supported one another in how to move forward with practical applications of expressive arts in therapy.
🌱 We currently offer three Expressive Arts Therapy Supervision Groups, with new openings in 2026! This is an affordable ($65/group) and supportive way to fulfill your Expressive Arts Therapy certification requirements, connect with a vibrant community, and grow your clinical and creative practice.
