Complete the waitlist survey to be notified when new openings are available. The waitlist survey assists my neurodivergent brain with prioritizing and tracking interested new clients. I created a questionnaire that assists in identifying severity of symptoms on current life struggles and ability to access resources or support systems. Due to the nature of trauma work, I have difficulty anticipating openings with clear regularity.
All approaches utilized are trauma-informed and inherently neurodivergent friendly. Ongoing supervision & consultation is provided by therapist for coaches.
We at Elemental Expressive Arts believe in collaborative care. We PARTNER with our clients to co-create the path for treatments and our staff work with one another for wrap around support for those that choose therapy and coaching options with separate providers.

Psychiatric Diagnostic Assessments: Also known as diagnostic testing can assist with self-understanding and decreasing shame or negative thought spirals around internalized messages of laziness, inability to adult, struggling to get life together, etc. I often use the analogy, “Oh, I better understand my operating system.” Different operating systems have different capacities throughout the day given a variety of biological and environmental factors.
- Limitations in Psychiatry & Psychology: In terms of what’s considered “science”, the field of psychology/psychiatry is a very young field. Fact: The first version of the modern-day diagnostic manual was published in 1952. That would be 72 years, just slightly older than my father. Dr. James Davies, PhD (in social and medical anthropology) and qualified psychotherapist, published his findings in the book, Cracked: Why Psychiatry is Doing More Harm than Good. A must read for anyone frustrated with traditional western psychiatric care and diagnostic procedures. Not all providers stay up to date with current research to support ethical diagnostic practices.
